Responsible Development and the Future of Packaging

For us, business growth also means taking responsibility for the environment. We consistently adapt our processes, products and packaging to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and respond to evolving environmental and regulatory requirements.
We are proactively preparing for further changes resulting from European and national regulations concerning environmental protection, the circular economy, packaging, raw materials and responsible supply chains. PPWR is one of the important directions of these changes, just as REACH, BDO and other environmental and product requirements were before, while further regulations, such as EUDR, are ahead of us.
We do not view these requirements merely as formal obligations. We use transition periods to systematically transform our products, packaging and processes so that the development of our company is aligned with the direction of European environmental policy and the principles of responsible business.
We are continuously developing our portfolio while maintaining the functionality, safety, durability and high quality of our products. Our goal is to reduce resource consumption, increase opportunities for reuse and recycling, and build a more responsible supply chain.
Our activities include, among others:

• reducing the amount of plastic used in packaging,
• developing the Eco Packing programme, based on uncoated cardboard,
• increasing the share of recyclable materials,
• reusing packaging in line with the #REUSE concept,
• developing products made from natural materials such as wood, jute, cotton and cardboard,
• optimising production, warehousing and logistics processes,
• taking a responsible approach to the use of raw materials and materials,
• developing cooperation with suppliers in accordance with the Supplier Code of Conduct,
• continuously monitoring legislative changes and adapting our products and processes to new requirements.
